The Tri-Island Tour is Siargao's most popular day trip, and for good reason: three completely different islands, one boat, and you're back in General Luna before dinner. Here's what the day actually looks like, from pick-up to drop-off.

The itinerary

Boats leave General Luna in the morning, usually between 7:30 and 9:00 AM depending on the tide and your pick-up time. The order of islands can shift slightly depending on the wind and boat traffic, but a typical day runs like this:

  • Guyam Island — small, palm-fringed, and usually the first stop. Good for photos and a short swim before the sun gets strong.
  • Daku Island — the largest of the three, with a small village and enough shade for the boodle fight lunch. Most tours spend the longest stretch of the day here.
  • Naked Island — a bare sandbar with no shade at all, best visited around midday when the water is calmest. Bring a hat and reef-safe sunscreen.

What's included

A standard joiner rate covers the boat and boatman, life vests, all island entrance and docking fees, and a boodle fight lunch — rice, grilled fish, chicken and vegetables served on banana leaves. A licensed local guide travels with the group for the whole day.

What to bring

  • Swimwear under your clothes — there's nowhere private to change on the islands
  • Reef-safe sunscreen and a hat, especially for Naked Island
  • A dry bag or waterproof phone pouch
  • Cash for the General Luna LGU tourist fee and any extras, like fresh coconuts sold on Daku

Good to know

The mandatory municipal tourist fee is charged per person at the pier and isn't part of the tour price — it's the same for every operator. If you want more time on any one island or a different order of stops, contact us on WhatsApp about a private boat instead of the shared joiner tour (all prices on this site are joiner rates).
